Position Title: 

Project Coordinator

Position Description: 

Maintains client member databases; serves as liaison between organizational staff and outside vendors regarding database design changes, implementation and other needs; enters new members, conference and meeting registrations, publication and merchandise orders. Produces reports and reconciles financial data within database and with accounting department. Periodically cleans and edits data as requested by client or client staff. Works as registration coordinator on site at client meetings. Transitions client data as needed.
Additionally, assists with association and meeting staff on various projects including meeting minutes, conference logistics, member follow-up and other administrative tasks. Occasional travel required (less than 20%), some weekends and evenings seasonally as workload demands.

 

 

 
 
 
 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIRED SKILLS

EDUCATION: Bachelor s degree in related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE: One year of data entry experience, with some HTML web coding experience, or the
equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  1. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including
    appropriate telephone etiquette; and ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; and ability to write simple business correspondence.
  2. Proven organizational skills; flexibility; ability to manage
    multiple projects in conjunction with normal job activities.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional software package, including Outlook, Word, Access and Excel.
